January 2, 2000:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
Yes, I've been neglecting this journal (the whole site, actually) - BIG TIME!!! I decided to take a break from weight loss over the holidays. I only gained one pound, so I'm at 275 as of this morning. I've been eating things I shouldn't be, like chocolate and other sweets. But back in December I made a decision to restart on January 3rd. And I'm restarting as of tomorrow!!! Actually, today I didn't do that bad, either. Just getting an early start, I guess. :-)
I have set up some goals - pretty much the same as usual:
- Eat healthy most of the time, allowing myself an occasional treat.
- Drink at least a gallon of water every day.
- Do Tae-Bo at least 4 times per week.
- No eating after 7 pm.
- No emotional eating. I'm starting school on January 18th, and this will become sooooooo important.
- Post on the Met board daily.
- Update my journal daily.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Make time for myself.
- Treat myself (with non-food items).
- Take care of myself.
- Love myself.
That's it for now. :-) And as of tomorrow, I am back on track!!!!!

So far, so good with my goals! I ate very well today - had cereal and half a grapefruit for breakfast, half a sandwich and veggies for lunch, and chicken for dinner. I'm just finishing up my gallon of water for today, and I did Tae-Bo after work. :-)

Well, I've been sort of under the weather this week, so I only did Tae-Bo on Monday. I've been doing well with food and water, though! And I lost 3 pounds this week!!!! So now I'm at 272 pounds. :-)
I'm also trying to plan another cruise for November, on my birthday week. It's 46 weeks away, so it's possible that I can be under 200 pounds by then! Talk about exciting!!!

Yes, I know I haven't updated my journal at ALL lately. I've been busy making my other site. Last week I lost 2 more pounds, and this week ... nothing! So I'm now at 270! I started college this week also, and things are going well so far. If they keep going well, then I will he happy. :-)
